I read "THE ADVENTURES OF Huckleberry Finn" for the first time but I watched it for the class. I like this story because it is a great depth story. Hero's Huckleberry Finn is white but his friend is Black. His name is Jim. This period is violent for the segregation. I impressed with Huck and Jim's friendship. I learn to this story. I read The Coat. "It was't just an old coat," he shouted. "The pockets were full of treasure!"

Mark knew he shouldn't be listening under the window at old Mr Crowe's house. "What old coat?" asked a woman. Mr Crowe said the grey one, with all the pockets. Then Mark heard the woman speak again. "That old thing! I put it out for the garbage truck this morning." Mark thought that the woman must be Mr Crowe's daughter. Mr Crowe shouted "it wasn't just an old coat. The pockets were full of treasure." Mark had followed the garbage truck before. He could feel the sweat running down his back as he cycled up Hill Road. Mark wondered what could be in the pockets. At last Mark reached the top of the hill. He found the Crowe's bag and there was the coat at the top of the bag. Mark pulled it out and picked up his bike. At home, Mark spread out the coat and emptied the pockets. There was an old fob watch, a faded photo of a young woman, a locket, bottle tops and a shark's tooth. Mark thought that where was the treasure. Mark looked up when his mother came into the room. She asked what's all this. Mark said that just some old stuff he found at the dump. His mother said that it looks like someone's treasure. The next morning, Mark found Mr Crowe in his garden. Mark said that he found your coat. The old man looked surprised as he took his coat from Mark. Mr Crowe said that you've made an old man very hsppy. Mark smiled.
I was teach important things by this story. It is important things that momories are treasure than expensive stuff. I like this book. I recomend this book to you.

1. Introduction

I like foods. I often look books of foods. In the books, there were a lot of foods which looks delicious. In especially I like another country’s foods because the foods look more delicious than Japanese one. I am very interested in American foods. In my image, I thought American diet is very big. So I expected that American breakfast is big, too. I expected that an American people eat a lot of foods in the morning. However, I do not know whether it is true. So I decided to survey American breakfast. Also I survey typical Japanese breakfast, too. My host family member is Darren (father), Jessica (mother), Owen (5 years old), Ben (4 years old) and Noah (2 years old). Darren is an owner of printing company. Jessica is a doctor. And they have 3 little boys. So they are very busy every day. And then, I am going to compare between American breakfast and Japanese one.

2.1. Japanese Breakfast Style

It is said that eating properly in the morning is good for people. So people try to eat properly. Japanese people think that eating breakfast is important. On TV, it is often broadcasted that eating breakfast is good for our brain. If we do not eat breakfast, we cannot work well. In effect, researcher studied and they proved about that. So I think that the most of Japanese people try to eat breakfast. I also eat breakfast every morning. Moreover, it is said that eating rice is very good. Rice is essential for Japanese people. However, some people do not eat properly. The people do not feel to want to eat breakfast or oversleeping. The things caused to stay without breakfast. Especially, young people do not eat breakfast. Because of recent young people have a lot of homework or go to school. So they do not enough time to sleep. So it is said that they are oversleeping or do not feel want to eat breakfast in the morning.

2.2. Japanese Breakfast menu

I usually eat rice and miso soup and I drink green tea as a breakfast. When I oversleep and I do not have enough time to eat breakfast, I eat bread with sugar and I drink tea. In general, we eat rice and miso soup as a breakfast. Depend on people but some people eat bread, cereal, eggs, fish or natto with rice. In case of not bread, we generally eat something with rice, whether or not.

2.3. Japanese Outside Breakfast

Recently, it is said that “Sotoasa-zoku” is increase. “Sotoasa-zoku” is people who go out for breakfast. “soto” means outside. “asa” means morning. In especially, most of the people are older because if they make breakfast, the foods are rested. It is thought that it is better economically. Also the wives do not want to make breakfast. They want Holiday. So they tend to go out for breakfast. And then, the restaurant is changing for the breakfast today. For example, one restaurant is turning sushi restaurant. The restaurant services breakfast which can be serviced only from 7:00 to 9:30. After you take a seat, the waiter or waitress brings rice, miso soup and nori. And then, there are broiled fish, sunny-side up egg, natto, food boiled, seasoned and cold tofu. These foods turn around the counter. However, I think that Japanese people who go out for breakfast are few. I like to eat breakfast at my house with relaxing. My family also likes to that. I don’t know whether it is usual for Japanese people about it. However, I think that “Sotoasa-zoku” is just increase but they are few yet.

3.1. American Breakfast style

Many American people go to work or school without breakfast because they have eaten lunch in early time (about 11a.m.) and they have a habit which eat snack in the afternoon since they were children. So they can stand to stay without breakfast.

3.2. American Breakfast menu

When I went to Minnesota, my host father asked to me “Which do you want to eat, cereal, eggs or toast in morning?” I do not like cereal with milk. Also I thought that eating eggs does not feel full. So I ate toast with raspberry jam and orange juice as breakfast in most of morning. In the first morning, when I got up and I went to kitchen, my host father was eating cereal. And then, he taught me how to make a toast with oven. So I eat breakfast with him. However, the next morning, he was not in kitchen. So I made a toast and I ate it alone. I have never seen that my host mother eats breakfast. My host father sometimes eats breakfast in his office. When I was overslept, he gave me a stick which likes a Japanese “calorie mate”. In holiday, my host father made scrambled eggs with onions, bacons and cheese for me. Sometimes he took me to Mcdonald’s and we ate eggmac muffin and coffee there. In general, American people eat cereal, toast, bagel, waffle or egg.

3.3. American Outing Breakfast

I wrote about an American holiday’s Breakfast a little bit before but I am going to add about it. In general, American people go out for eating as brunch in the morning. It is said that if you go to a restaurant at about 10a.m., it is full and fill with life. The standard menu of the breakfast is dish of eggs. For example, the Scrambled egg, Sunny-Side Up, Over-Easy, or Boiled Egg with Hashed-Brawn, Bacon or Sausage with coffee. Also it is not only a restaurant but coffee shop (Starbucks) or fast food shop (Mcdonald’s) also crowd. In general, American people don’t eat breakfast at their house. They go out for breakfast.

4. Conclusion

In fact, I found that American outing breakfast is big but American breakfast at house is very light. Also I found that Japanese people and American people’s opinions about breakfast are different. Also Japanese breakfast and American one are different. However, I also found that Japanese breakfast and its style are changing like an American. Also there are same point between American breakfast and Japanese one. Some people don’t eat breakfast among America and Japanese. The reason is they have no time. However, I thought that one reason is different by staying with my host family. American people often eat ice, pie, popcorn or something before they go to bed. So they do not feel hungry and do not eat breakfast

I am going to talk about my name. My family name is Miyamoto. Miya means a shrine. Hon means a book. Miyamoto is 68^th place in Japan. I thought that Miyamoto, this family name person is many. However, in fact, it is not many. And then, I checked famous Miyamoto person. Do you know Musashi Miyamoto? He is very famous person historically. I also checked famous Miyamoto sports player. Do you know Tsuneyashu Miyamoto? He is a soccer player. He is very famous soccer player. My first name is Haruna. Haru means spring. Na means rape blossoms. My birthday is not spring. My birthday is fall. However, my parents named me Haruna. Spring is warm. So they wanted me to be kind person. So my name is Haruna. Also I checked famous Haruna person. There are Haruna Kondo and Haruna-Ai. They are like a funny talent. They are very funny. Also I found Haruna Kojima. She is an idol. She is a member of AKB48. She is very cute. Also I found that Gunma prefecture’s famous pork brand name is Haruna Pork. This is very delicious. I work at Italian restaurant. About one month ago, there are Haruna Pork’s pizza and pasta. I don’t like the name because my name is same. However, these are very delicious.

Now

Now, I have a lot of things to do. For example, this blog, book review, study for exam, some reports and so on. I have 9 tests this term. I have to study hard for exam. In especially, I have to study environment argument and International society hard. I think that the exams are very difficult. However, I have a lot of things that I want to do. Now, I want to read a lot of good books because I want to broaden my intellect. I have one book. The title is TEGAMIYA. This mean letter's shop. This book is very good because it is written a lot of nice words in the book. I love the words. When I was a high school student, reading book is very popular in my class. So we often went to the library. And then, I looked the book, TEGAMIYA. I rent the book. I finished to read the book soon. After that, I returned the book. After then, I wanted the book so I looked for the book at many book shop. However, I couldn't look for the book. However, I looked the book at one book store last year. I was really happy and I bought it. However, I have not read it yet. Now, I really want to read the book. However, I have a lot of things to do. And I have to study for exams. So I really want to finish to do a lot of reports and exams.
